The Berenstain Bears and the Green-Eyed Monster

Bad Idea, Scared Daughter
I read this story to my 5 year old and regret every minute of it. The plot is confusing, having this green eyed monster doesn't fit will with the target audience. As silly as it might sound, my daughter is now literally scared of being by herself now even in our own house.
Creepy
I usually like the Berenstain Bears books for their morals, but the green-eyed monster in the book is creepy. Since the target audience are small children (who struggle with figurative language) the monster and dream sequence could be confusing at best and frightening at worst. Pass!
Awesome short and to the point
Great length for bedtime story good visuals that hit the point and come back in the moment you want to teach a lesson
Great lesson!
Our family loves the Berenstain Bear books and the lessons they teach in a way both kids and adults can learn from. Loved this story!
Good Book, my daughter made me buy every one ...
Good Book, my daughter made me buy every one for her and she reads them to me before bed. The lessons in these books should be mandatory reading for adults when they turn 21, it would make the world a more friendly place.
Great books for life lessons
Got for my grandchildren. They love to hear the stories and these books have good life lessons as well.
great
My grandaughter was having a problem with jealousy, this book helped her with her green eyed monster.
Classic Berenstain
Cute book
Fantastic
My kiddo loves this! Great story and morals.
Very Good
My two boys (ages 7 and 5) are as competitive as any others and when one has something the other wants, it can be a real challenge to deal with it. I think this book has helped them (especially the 5-year-old) understand that the feelings are normal, and that other people (or bears in this case) feel jealousy/envy too. They both really like this book-- I read it to my 5-year-old four times on the day we got it, and he would have liked it to be more.
