Chuẩn bị tất cả các nguyên liệu. Cà chua tỉa hoa trang trí. Gừng sơ chế sạch, cắt sợi.
Pha 50ml nước tương, 2 muỗng canh dầu hào, 1 muỗng canh đường vào 1 cái chén cho tan đều.
Cá mua về sơ chế lại cho thật sạch, cho vào 1 cái đĩa lớn dùng được trong lò vi sóng. Thả gừng cắt sợi vào chén nước tương đã trộn.
Rưới đều chén nước tương trộn gừng lên toàn bộ khúc cá, để ngấm chừng 10 phút thì lật lại để cá ngấm đều gia vị hơn. Dùng màng bọc thực phẩm bọc thật kín toàn bộ đĩa cá.
Cho cả đĩa cá vào lò vi sóng, bật chế độ nấu trong 6 phút. Hết thời gian để nguyên đĩa cá trong lò để cá tự hạ nhiệt bớt trong khoảng 5 phút thì tiếp tục bật chế độ nấu thêm khoảng 4 phút nữa là cá chín.
Cá vừa mang trong lò vi sóng ra và đã bóc bỏ màng bọc thực phẩm. Rắc thêm hành lá, thìa là cắt sợi, nếu thích ăn cay thì thêm vài lát ớt tươi là đã hoàn thành món ăn rất nhanh gọn rồi. Tỉa thêm hoa hồng bằng cà chua trang trí cho sinh động.
